Saturday

Saturday morning we had a High Priests Temple outing. I was not able to go, but Mike did, and afterward we had breakfast at our house. It was a lot of fun, and of course the kids had a great time. We are going to make this a monthly event, so there will be many more of these to look forward to.

That night, Mike and I went to see the new Batman movie. Mike said if I went to it with him, that he would go and see the Twilight movie with me when it comes out in December. They showed the trailer to Twilight at the beginning of the Batman movie, which made me more excited for the movie to come out. I finished book three two days before the fourth one came out. I've heard mixed reviews about the fourth book, so we will see how that one is when I read it. I have mixed feelings myself about the series.

We really enjoyed seeing Batman. We ran into my friend from high school, she is the same one that let me raid her apricots a couple of weeks ago. I had not seen her since M-boy was a baby and in the last 10 days, we have seen each other three times! We decided that it must be a sign.

This was also the first night we have ever in our lives hired a babysitter. We were both nervous, but we asked a girl in our ward who we think is just wonderful, and she did a great job with the kids. They loved her too, and can't wait for her to come back. They were all sound asleep when we got home, and it was nice to have them in their own beds.

Here are some photos from the breakfast:

I'm not near as excited about the movie. I haven't got my copy of the 4th book delivered yet. I'm really looking forward to it though. I'm plugging my ears and singing la la to anyone who wants to talk about it yet.
Congratulations on hiring a babysitter. That's a milestone for sure! *wink wink* The kids looked like they had so much fun at the breakfast. The pictures of the girls under the table brought back memories. I have the exact same picture of Abby and Maddie under the picnic table up Tinney Flat... when they were practically babies. Where does the time go?
