Amazing Morning Moo

As many of you know, I am always looking for ways to save money on everything we buy. I thought I would share with you something I've started using. About a year ago, my Relief Society President told our ward about a product called "Morning Moo", a Dry Milk product. I had heard of it, but it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago I decided to buy some. We have been using it for two weeks now, mixing it with 1/2 gallon of our regular milk to 1/2 gallon of morning moo. (2 cups of morning moo make one gallon of milk) My kids cannot tell a difference in taste, and will drink it like a regular cup of milk. I can tell a slight difference if I really pay attention to it, but I can drink a regular cup just fine.

It's on sale right now at Macey's until Tuesday. We bought a 37 pound bucket for $59.99. It equals $1.62 pound, or less than $1.00 for a gallon of milk. We will only have to buy one to two gallons of real milk a week now, and supplement with morning moo to make twice that much. It was on KSL.com the other day that food prices are going to increase again, as if they have not increased enough already in the last two years. Just another reason to get the food supply stocked up while prices are low.
