The tooth is finally out!

I blogged a while ago that S-girl had a tooth growing in behind her baby tooth. Soon after that post, her baby tooth started to wiggle, and has been really loose for at least a month now. For the past two days, we have been trying to get the tooth out. Well, today, just before lunchtime, she was hungry and ate a banana (of all things), and she looked at me and said "Mom, I think this is my tooth". She held out her hand, and sure enough, it was her tooth. She has been so excited all day. She had to call and tell as many people as she could. It has been so cute to watch her. She is now all ready for the tooth fairy to come tonight.
To try and "bribe" her to wiggle on that tooth as much as she could to get it out, I told her I would take her to the dollar store. So right after lunch, off we went. Here are some photos of the girls with some of the fun make up and jewelry they found there.

Her dad also told her he would take her to get a happy meal, so that is where they are right now. It's been such a fun, busy day!
On a side note, while we were in the car, and the air conditioning was on her, she said "Mom, I have moose bumps". So funny!

Oops. When your site got updated, it got left out of my bloglist. I'll have to fix it later. You are so good to can food. Did it once and may do it after kids are older. I love the 4th too and it looks like you had fun. It seems like you guys are really doing well and I'm happy for you.
