Funny Kids

When I walked into the kitchen the other day, this is what I saw:
Scotlyn dressed up like Tinkerbell, carving an orange into a pumpkin. I guess she is still in the Halloween spirit! (gotta love the look on her face!)

This morning, Ivy wanted to wear a skirt, but did have a clean one, so I made this one for her. My sister gave me a really easy skirt pattern a couple of years ago, that is so quick to make. Only, Ivy's skirt won't have a hem in it for a while, because my sewing machine is broken. I think the foot pedal needs to be replaced. Luckily my serger works great for most things. She is feeling much better today, it's like she was never sick. She doesn't have much of a cold any more either. What a blessing!

That top picture is hilarious! That tells me what kind of amazing seamstress you are when making a skirt is easier then washing the dirty ones. You've never seen how long it takes me to thread the machine, load the bobbin, and get all "set up"... You'll have to teach me how to make them.

That is cute of Scotlyn. Carlyn still wants to dress up and go trick or treating :) Sorry about Ivy being sick, but lets hope that's it. Have fun on your trip and take care!
