Photos from the weekend

So, at 9:00 this morning, my girls were outside in their swimsuits! It was 37 degrees outside. They are so ready for warmer weather. I hear the weekend is suppose to be nice, I hope. After about 10 minutes, they did come in to get some warmer clothes on. I was tempted to go back to California with my sister. If our car was fixed, and ML didn't have a cold, I might have done it.

Here are some photos from the weekend. This is my sister with ML.

This is my nephew holding ML. There are only two boy grandchildren on my side of the family, and they are 10 years apart in age. My nephew was so good with ML, and it was so fun to watch them "bond" as cousins.

This is SL with her cousin. She is 18 months older than SL, and they had so much fun playing together. SL and IL could not wait to play with her.


On Friday, we went to my parents house while our car was in the shop. (We have to take our car back in this week because they had to order the part for it). My mom always has such fun things for our kids to do while they are at her house. We made homemade cards. It was so much fun and the girls loved it. I loved doing it too. It was fun to do something crafty.

Cute pictures! I thought your sister was you at first. We have only 2 boys too, ut of 12. My girls want to wear skirts and freeze playing outside too. Did you look at the forcast? 70s! Sorry to hear about your car needing to get fixed, but it sounds like you had a lot of fun.

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
