Happy Anniversary!

Today marks our 10 year wedding anniversary. In honor of my husband, I am going to post the 10 things I love about him.

1. He loves me unconditionally, no matter what.

2. I love to hear him play/read to our kids. They love it when he comes home, and you can usually find the girls in some corner of the house waiting for him to come and find them.

3. He's such a hard worker and does whatever it takes to make sure we are all taken care of.

4. He is so smart. He knows math and can teach our kids math as they get older. It's a good thing too, because I will not be much help with it comes to Algebra.

5.He has a way of explaining things so well and helps me see that there is more than one solution to a problem.

6. He loves the Lord and honors his priesthood. He is always ready to give a blessing whenever he is called to do so.

7. He has such a fun sense of humor and makes me laugh. I think all of the LeBaron boys have inherited this from their dad, and I love it!

8. He is never too busy to read to his kids, and his love of books is being handed down to our children.

9. I'm so proud of him for helping our family change to a healthier lifestyle. We are eating so much better and exercising so much more than we did 10 years ago, or even just two years ago.

10. He helps me want to be a better person.


Here's to at least 5 more 10 year anniversary's Mike and many more to come in the eternities!

Happy Anniversary! We are about to hit 10 years too...it is hard to believe isn't it! Have so much fun on your trip!

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
