California Trip Day 4

This was our second and last day at Disneyland. It was another beautiful day in the park.

We arrived at the park just after 9:00 and went to the line to see the Princesses. It opened at 9:30 and there was already an hour wait in front of us. Mason had a rough time during the wait, he not a "line waiting" kid. Then, I don't know many kids his age who are. It would not have been too bad if we could have kept him in the stroller, but because we had to park the stroller when the line opened, and then had to wait another hour to see the princesses, it about drove him crazy. Finally, I got out of line, and followed him around until Mike got right to the front of the line with the girls. He loved being able to run free for a few minutes.

It was so worth the wait though to see them. They were so sweet to our girls, and I now believe that the princesses really exist. They acted their parts so well.

Cinderella was especially impressive.

She saw how Mason was not wanting to be held and he just wanted to run around, so she gave him and "high 5". Only the real Cinderella would hold her hand out to the side like that while she played with Mason. She was so cute. I am so glad Mike took this photo at that exact moment.

Sleeping Beauty, or I mean Princess Aurora (the girls remind me that is her real name because that is what she signed in their autograph books) was sweet with the girls too.

I love this photo of her giving them a hug.

We did not ride as many rides the second day as we did on the first day, but we rode "Buzz Lightyear, Astroblasters" three times. It's nice that it is a "Fast Pass" ride. The kids loved this ride. We also just discovered that you can download a video game on the Internet and play along at home on your computer. They love to play it at home too.

We just happened to see Br'er Fox as we were waiting for Mike and Ivy to ride Splash Mountain for the second time.

Obviously, our kids were really in to meeting the characters. The Pooh characters were all by the Pooh Bear ride so we were able to meet them too. The lines to meet the characters were short and quick too. March was the perfect time for us to go to Disneyland.

Ivy thought it was so funny that Pluto put her book on his nose to sign it.

Mason was ready for his nap by this point, so we went back to the hotel. We just stayed in our room and watched TV while he slept. After he woke up, we ate dinner and drove back to the park. Ivy was exhausted, and this is what she looked like when we went back to Disneyland.

By the time we got back to Disneyland, it was 5:30 and we had not even been to California Adventure yet. It closed at 6:00, so we headed straight there, and Ivy and I rode "Soaring Over California". That was a really fun ride. This is the one photo we took in the park.

While Ivy and I were on the ride, Mike found this cute little Mickey Mouse aviator hat for Mason. It looks so cute on him.
By the time we made it back over the Disneyland, we thought all of the characters would be gone, but we did find Minnie Mouse, which the girls were very excited about.

Here is a photo of the kids after day two. We had such a fun time at the park, and can't wait to go again in a couple of years!

You were smart to take a break both days. It made it so much easier for us the 2nd day. It just makes you say, "We'll have to go again so we can go on the other rides." :) Looks like the perfect time to go.
