Salt Dough Ornaments

This is the second year that we have made salt dough ornaments. It's so much fun, and it's fun to see what the kids make and how they look when they are finished. Here is Scotlyn making the ornaments. Sorry it's not the best picture.

Since they take 2 hours to bake, we split the process into two days. Here are the girls painting the ornaments. They wanted to paint them first thing yesterday morning, but I made them wait until Mason was asleep, for obvious reasons.
Here are the finished ornaments. The one on the second row from the top, the second from the left I think Scotlyn painted it like the joker, but not on purpose, it just turned out that way. (I didn't tell her that). I made three faces that were suppose to be each one of the kids. It's was my best attempt, maybe we will try again next year. When Christmas is over, I'll let them each choose one to keep. It's fun to see their creativity come out with projects like this.

What a fun mom you are! Sewing, and exercise on top of homemade ornaments! :) How fun.
I love that they keep one each year. That way you can make them every year but then you don't end up with a million ornaments. So cute!
