The Birds that Just Won't Leave
All summer long these dang birds pillaged our grapes. Every time the kids would go outside, at least 10 of them would scatter out of the grapes. Next year, I am determined to find a way to keep them away from them. I'm pretty sure they ate at least half of them, if not more. So, the other day when it was snowing, I looked outside to see this:

Come on birds, didn't you get enough over the summer? I did see one little cluster of grapes hanging on in the snow, they must have been fighting over them. At least I can look at the bright side and think that we must have kept their population alive for another year. It's really not a big deal, and it makes me laugh, but I am going to find a way to keep them away, because next year, they will be all over our raspberries and strawberries too, I'm sure!
