So, Mike decided go to the extreme and buy the biggest mug he could find at Maverick. It's 100 ounces. He's not really a soda drinker, but wanted to have this mug on hand for water. Mason has found his new best friend. This mug is half the size of him. He loves it! You would have thought it was Christmas day at our house!



A couple of weeks ago, Tricia and Keith (Mike's sister and her husband) came up for a visit. It was so fun to have them over. Their daughter is three months younger than Mason. They also have a son, who is 7 months old, but not in this picture. It was great to have them over.

My friend Carley came over a couple of weeks ago and we made bread. She also helped me with my first picking of raspberries, there were quite a few to pick! My mouth waters every time I see this photo. I love raspberries!

Mason and that mug is so funny! I don't think I have seen one that big. How does he even carry it? It is totally as big as he is. What a cutie.

Are you aware of the carseat laws they have for mugs over 64 ounces? If you're going to carry a mug that big... you need to have the reverence and respect for the mug that it deserves. :D

Those were the BEST raspberries ever! Had SO much fun...but that pic of me should be removed...YIKES!!!

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
