Random Stuff

Apparently the game "Connect 4" is loved by all children, not just those age 7 and up. It just takes some parental supervision to make sure the chips don't end up in their mouths, and they also make up their own rules.

This is Scotlyn and Mason helping me in the kitchen. I have been on this kick lately where I'm trying new recipes for things that I would normally buy at the store. This pictures was taken the day we were making homemade saltine crackers. Next week, I'm going to try homemade graham crackers. It's fun to experiment.

One day last week, I went out and swept out the garage, it was way overdue. It was a nice day and the girls enjoyed some outdoor time.

This is the "tower of tortillas" we made last week. That is what Ivy called it when she saw this stack on the counter. We made 103 of them in total. I times the recipe by 6 because the kids eat them so fast that I can't keep up. After a few days, they are gone. I hope that by making so many that they last a little bit longer this time. The girls love to eat them as a snack with some butter, cinnamon and sugar on them. I nuke them for about 10 seconds. They really are a yummy snack.
