Fun at Lowe's

Last Saturday, Scotlyn and I braved the snow storm and went to Lowe's for their "Build and Grow" Project. When I went to the store a few weeks ago, I saw a sign that said they would be making jewelry boxes in February. So, I went on-line and signed up for it. Scotlyn loved it! They gave her goggles and an apron for her to keep, and the craft kit to make the jewelry box. The best part was it was all free!

They do these projects twice a month. When Scotlyn finished with her project, she got a badge to sew onto her apron. There were kids there that had their aprons covered with badges! Scotlyn is looking forward to the next project!

How fun! Home Depot does the same thing but I think it's only once a month. Our friends that used to live here take their kids all the time. They call it "Depot Days". I need to take my girls. They were too young when I heard about it. Thanks for the reminder. I'm glad she had fun!

Okay, that is darling! I need to check on those things. How fun for you and her to go.

You are such a great mom!

Thanks for the update this morning. I was in the bathroom and I guess I didn't hear the phone.
Anyway, you are great!
