My Little Tag Man

I can't get over Mason's tag fetish. I think it is so funny! Mike's Aunt Amanda recommended that we make him a "tag blanket", which I really should because I think I would love it. Thanks for the idea Amanda! Last night when I went in to check on him before we went to sleep, this is what I found:

Mike was a little worried about his finger, so he took it out of the tag. Mason can be as fussy as anything and if you show him a tag, he immediately changes his mood. He gets so happy. I never knew a tag could make a 23 month old cheer up. Who needs toys anyway? His birthday is in three weeks, all he needs is a new tag!

That is too funny! My sister did (and still does) bend blanket corners so that they are sharp and will rub her hand with it....kids just like the funniest things! What a cute little guy!

He's almost 2 already?!? Wow. D just turned 1 1/2. Its funny the things they get attached to. D is totally into his milk bottle. I'd almost rather it be tags. :)

That is too cute! You can buy taggy blankets. I actually have one that none of my kids have really gotten in to. Email me your address and I'll send it your way, consider it a b-day present for him. :)

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
