Studio C!
We LOVE Studio C! This show started last fall, and we love it! It is sketch comedy by BYU-TV. It is similar to Saturday Night Live, only it is clean! I love that we can watch it with our kids, and we don't have to worry about anything coming on that is offensive. On Friday, I read on their Facebook page that the cast was going to be at the BYU Bookstore that night, signing copies of their DVD that come out with the first 2 seasons on it. Mike and I decided it would fun to surprise the kids with an impromptu trip to "visit cousins" in Provo. Most of Mike's siblings live somewhere in the Utah County area, so it was easy to not tell the kids what we were doing. We told them that we wanted to stop by BYU and walk around, which is something we have done several times when we have gone to visit family there. When we got to the bookstore, and got in line, we told the kids what we were there for. They were so excited! To make it even better, we called Mike's sister, and she met us there with her 2 kids. It was so great. There were only about 30 people ahead of us, and because we were there early, they gave the first 50 people in line free t-shirts! It was awesome! Seven out of the 10 cast members were there. Matt, Mallory, Jeremy, Jaymez, Jason, Whitney, and Natalie.
This is a picture of my kids standing with a girl they were talking to as we waited in line.

Jaymez and Jason were the first 2 cast members to arrive.
The kids all got their t-shirts signed as well as a notebook signed. Right after we went through the line, one of the people who was there to oversee things said "People are having 2 and 3 things signed, we can't have them do that, so just limit it to one." We squeaked in at the last moment!
This is my favorite picture of Mason and Matt Meese. Matt is very talented and one of my favorite characters from the show. Mike took this photo at just the right moment!

It has been so long since I blogged. Sorry about the photo layout. If any of you have suggestions on how to make a better photo layout in blogger, I am happy to hear them. I could not get it to work right for me.
