Nicklecade

A while ago I bought some discount coupons for the Nicklecade. Mike and I love to go there on a date, just the two of us. On Monday night, we asked our neighbors if they wanted to go with us for family night, since the coupons were due to expire this week. It was so much fun!  We feel so blessed to have such good friends and neighbors that live by us. 

Mike and I are convinced that Mason will marry one of their twin girls someday. In fact we were taking picture afterwards, my friend Amy said "we need to have pictures for their wedding video!"  We have very high hopes that it will work that way someday!  

When Mason got on this tractor he said "hey Kenlee and Jacee (the twins) do you want to see how I can ride a real tractor?"  He is already trying to impress then. 
Mason was a star at the ball drop game. It has always been one of our kids favorite games. This night he ended up hitting the jackpot, which got him over 200 tickets, plus he hit the 100 and the 50 ticket hole. He was pretty proud of himself!  

Here are all of the kids after we were finished. It was such a fun family night to spend with our friends!

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
