Kindergarten Round up
Today, SL had Kindergarten round up. I can't believe she is old enough to go to school! Here is a photo of her and her sister in some "new" clothes that my sister sent for them. (My sister's girl is 18 months older than SL, and it is so nice of her to pass down her clothes for my girls).
Anyway, SL was so excited to go to the school. Once we got there, she didn't want me to leave her side. She found another little girl who was there for the first time as well, and they both sat down and drew a picture with markers. They had cookies and a juice box for the kids, which of course was SL's favorite part. She could start school as early as July 21st. The school here is on year round, which I have mixed feelings about, but I have heard a lot of people say they like it, so we will try it and see.
Yesterday, I took SL and ML to the doctor for their check-up's. SL had to get 5 shots for kindergarten! She was not very happy about that at all, and made sure that we all knew that her legs hurt. ML had his one year check-up, and had to get 4 shots. We ended up being at the doctor's office for almost 2 hours. It was a marathon visit, but I was glad to get them both over in one "shot". IL on the other hand didn't have to get poked at all this time. (Because of the medication she is on, she has to have her blood drawn every three months) The funny thing was she still wanted to sit up on the table and have her examination. You would think that she would be afraid of going to the doctor's office, but she isn't. What a silly girl!
After the doctor, we met a friend at McDonald's that had a playland, as per SL's request. It was really good because SL was able to play and not think about how much her legs hurt, and it was good for her to move them around.
ML was so tired after the day that he fell asleep in his high chair during dinner.

On another note, IL spilled bacon grease on her this morning. Luckily, it was not hot! I heard her say something about a drink and looked behind me and there she was dripping in bacon grease. What a little greasy little pig!

Your day sounds identical to Rachel's day. B got signed up for kindergarten and had to have his shots and poor W found out he was like 5 or 6 shots behind and had to get caught up, too. Poor guy!
