Happy Father's Day

Mike has gotton the kids into a habit of eating their breakfast on a cookie sheet when he is home. The kids think this is the best thing ever. Mason and Ivy looked so cute eating this morning that I had to take a photo.

Mike took Ivy to church and I stayed home because Scotlyn has a cold. While they were gone, Scotlyn and I put together a treasure hunt for them. Scotlyn and I cleaned out the food storage room downstairs to surprise Dad. It sure needed a good cleaning out. Here is Mike and Ivy doing the treasure hunt. Ivy kept saying that it was the best treasure hunt ever!

Scotlyn put a bag of candy corns in the basement at the end of the treasure hunt. We hope you had a great Father's Day Dad! We love you!

So I must say how good that pizza looks down below on the previous post! Now to the Father's day... how much fun you guys are!!! I bet you have a lot of fun and laughter in your home. That's the kind of person you are though. Always keeping those around you happy. I need to call you and get together!!

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
