Christmas in June?

Last week, my friend Carley and I went to Ogden for the Christmas Carol train tour. The train is traveling all across the country to promote the new Christmas Carol movie coming out in November. They were giving tours of the train, which had memorabilia and things from the upcoming movie, but with a wait of over two hours, we decided not to wait. Like Carley said it would have turned into the Nightmare before Christmas, if we had waited in line that long with five small children. We did get in line to watch the movie trailer. The movie looks pretty intense. The kids were scared during the trailer, so this is one we will have to pass on I think.

The kids had a fun time playing on the trains.
After we went and ate school lunch. This has become my kids favorite thing to do in the summer. The kids and I have been every day since it started. It is saving us a ton of money, and saving me a lot of work in the afternoon. There is no thinking about what I'm going to feed the kids, and no cleaning up afterwards. It goes until July 31st in our school district. The kids are free, and if I decide to buy lunch, it's only $2.70 - you can't beat that!
