Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! This was our Father's Day Breakfast, that everyone enjoyed. Complete with french toast, hashbrowns, and sausage. One good thing about having a late church schedule is that you don't have to be in a rush on Sunday morning to get everyone ready and out the door. It was a very relaxing morning.
All Mike wanted for Father's Day was a package of Oreo cookies and a glass of milk, so that is what he got. He has lost about 30 pounds so far this summer, and just keeps on going. (Yeah for Mike, I'm so proud of you!) Oreo's (and other refined and processed foods) are a thing of the past in our house, except for special occasions, and this was definitely a special occasion. This is the Oreo box after we all had our share. At one point, ML had one in each hand. A good thing about not buying these snacks very often is that when our kids get them, they make the most of them!

Here is ML after eating his share. He is a fan! I'm so grateful for Mike. He is such a wonderful dad to our kids, and I don't know how I could do this without him. He is so patient, loving and kind to each of us. The kids can't wait until he comes home from work at night, and always ask if they can watch the Simpson's with him (only if it is a clean episode, of course!) I have grown to love him more each year we have been married. Thanks for all you do for us Mike!
