Frightmares

We really got our use out of our Lagoon season passes this year. It was a lot of fun to have them and be able to go to Lagoon any time we wanted to. We managed to go to Frightmares at least 4 times, even on Halloween. Mike's parents came with us one night. One of the kids favorite things to do was go to the Spook-a-boo, which was a trick or treat trail. They always wanted to go there first!

This picture of Mason made me cringe when I saw it. Mike's dad took it when they were on the train. This is a germ freak's (me) worst nightmare!

BTW, Mason loved the train because he got to see a back-hoe (behind the animals). He is so into trucks and vehicles right now, it's so funny!

Oh my goodness I am dying that Mason was licking the ride! GROSS! Although, some would say that he is just building up a healthy immune system. Ha Ha! I'm glad you guys got so much use out of your passes. I sure wish we could have got them.

That was a fun night. I especially enjoyed riding the Sky Ride with Scotlyn and listening to all her comments as we "flew" from one end of Lagoon to the other.

Scotlyn's Birthday Party

Scotlyn's birthday is this coming Thursday, but because her birthday always falls around General Conference time, we try to have her party the week before conference. She has been counting down the days until her party all week. It was a lot of fun, and was so nice to have her party outside this year. Every year on her birthday, the weather has been cold, until this year. This is a picture of her a couple of days ago, when she decided she was going to build a hot air balloon and fly to Salt Lake. She packed a change of clothes in her backpack and took food with her in the box. She also had a few toys with her, but when she was ready to fly, she realized that there was not room for her to sit in the box. She kept saying to me, "Mom, this is really going to work. I'm going to Salt Lake, I'll be back later". It was too cute. She never did make it to Salt Lake, but she didn't seem too disappointed that she didn't fly. I love how at this age, they lo...
